I have serious alternator whine after the relocation though and cant isolate it (Premium sound)! double earths etc it is crazy bad, tried running power through the centre tunnel away from all electricals but no good, think of the noise you get through the aux socket and times it by 10...Will have to get an auto elec to look at it but I dont suppose a suppressor would work either?Good luck with it though Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/52501-battery-to-boot/#findComment-786285 Share on other sites

I used battery cable I got from autobarn.. I got my mate to join the 2 red wires to the one wire and ran the cable to the boot to the same battery.. and I did the same with the black.. or should I have just ground the black wire there in the engine bay and the one in the boot.. cuz my fpv alarm wire runs to the battery aswelledit: dashlights are fine.. nuthing pops up.. soo other then the things I mentioned above.. I just go to start the car and its like its dead.. literally.. wont turn over... the black fpv wire is the reason I ran the negative back to the engine bay.. just didnt want to ground it just in case.. is it fine to join the 2 red postives to one main wire then run to the battery? cuz I left my car for 30min b4 and it got worse.. didnt wanna start at all. but eventualy turned over Edited 14/12/08 10:13 AM by typhoon_freak Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/52501-battery-to-boot/#findComment-786318 Share on other sites
