Pat you forgot the obligatory quarantine* requirement as well

* all automotive parts must sit in the attic for at least 12 months before use

I just went for a drive and they do have some heat in them, I never checked how hot the halogens were so I dont have any frame of reference :beerchug:

I reckon it will be ok, they wouldn't release them if they burnt holes in headlights now would they???

No they wouldn't, and since I've been at a Ford dealer for the last 3 years, I haven't seen any BAs with yellowed lenses, so I think this won't be an issue

ill try get mine on the fg tonight, I got a 8000k kit... :D its gonna be bright!

They will produce LESS light than the 4300k kit.

They'll look more blue/purple, but they will produce less light.

HID's run "hotter" than Halogens BUUUUUT the heat is les localised and wont affect the lenses or reflectors. I have 6000k's in my other car and in hindsight i would go 4300k as the light is mush more useable.

Noice job on the install Pat. Amazing what a little patience and lateral thinking can produce..... :tonguepoke:
