I've got a htc touch diamond through telstra (work plan). I had the Palm 750 before that however it wasn't very reliable and the keypad needed fingers much smaller than mine to operate it easily; it did have an on screen keyboard to use with the stylus which is what I ended up using mostly to write emails, text and navigate through the apps. Overall the Palm 750 was a mini-computer first and a phone second.

I've found the HTC is ultra stable across all similar applications (both running windows 6.1 the Palm would crash about once a week) and it has a few more standard apps than the Palm, it is half the size and the screen is plenty large enough for emails, photos etc etc. Just my 2c

I set these up for a living. hands down Blackberry Bold or black berry storm when it come out it will be a touch screen phone you will need a black berry plan. to use a black berry but all your emails will get sent to your phone and internet is free.

if you set you phone up to get emails u will have to get your phone to connect and check for emails and it will cost you data charges. if I was going to get a windows mobile phone id look HTC diamond. out of the ones you picked is go E51 or Nokia E71. id stay away from the palms. imate 9502 are not bad with the update but pre update they are paper weights.

+1 for the 9502 being a paper weight. my brother was having to reset his 5-10 times a day because of lock up ands stuff generally not working. the update is quick and painless though.

I currently use an I-Mate JasJam and it goes pretty good. can do all your email stuff and the touch screen works fairly well.

I recently loaded a custom rom onto mine and its much better to use then the stock rom.

you hear a lot of bitching about Windows Mobile but after using it for a while I wouldnt even consider a nokia these days :)
