Hi Iconical Barnical, the police here ( I have 4 family members, one is Det. Sen. SGT!) very often send out lovely little letters like this. Also, the EPA and Vic roads can pull you up. Thank gawd you are in NSW!!!

This pics for you to IB inspiration maybe.

Yep, makes perfect sense. You are assumed Guilty until you can prove otherwise and its going to cost you $37.50 to prove it!

If it was me, I'd screw it up and throw it in the bin.

Innocence before proven guilty.

Besides, it's only someones opinion your car is too loud until it's tested.

If the exhaust is stock stick it too them I say.

Do you reckon they go to EPA school everytime a new car is released and sit down and listen to them as they drive by to get a feel for how loud a stock exhaust sytem is? I think not, and you, the law abiding citizen, shouldn't have to prove your innocence.

You should not be out of pocket for someone elses opinion either.

Rather easy and reckless to state when you didnt get it. Maybe failure to turn up results in a big fine and or loss of a licence, but you didnt bother to think of that.

And to claim innocence you need to be accused of something, unless accusing his car counts.
