I just had a look at the timeslip.

Time for:

660' (1/2 track) 9.289, with mph 88.99

1000' 11.672

Full track 11.671

I hate to rain on anyone's parade, but BCL is on the money it appears the timing stopped at 1000 foot, well short of the full 1/4 mile.

I would guess your 1.5 to 2 seconds from the real ET.

using drag racing math, I think to do a 11.6, a 2.6 60foot time, would need a MPH im guessing of 135 at least..

Also agree with Danny

with that 60 foot (2.6) cut to 1.8 on his et11.6 would make this car near enough to a low 10, high 9 second car and don't think its that.

Bad luck Worm, Calder there is always something wrong somewhere...

Yes.. He has a timeslip! This is what we are arguing about!

It shows a 1320" (1/4 mile) time 0.001 quicker than the 1000" time, as well as showing 24.xx MPH..(NOT 124mph)

Go have a look at it

Also. There's nothing wrong with a full nizpro kit

I know Danny, I just find it funny that is all.

Everyone asks for a time slip and he has one, yet the questions are still asked. That is all.

Nothing bad here from me... I just find it funny that he has what everyone craves and yet it still isn't good enough, know what I mean? I could state that my old car could beat the shuttle to the moon but if I don't have a time slip to prove it then it means nothing.

Just simply stating that the exception doesn't always prove the rule.

Edit.

Not only that but the rule doesn't always have an exception. Who is to say that FSIX's time at Calder is wrong too, no offence mate intended as I'm sure you have a very quick car, but just saying that if the (Goverment backed) speed camera operation on the Western Ring Road a couple of years back can be wrong and so wrong at that so can your time be, considering that there is "always something wrong at Calder somewhere".

I am not having a shot at anyone here but just the simple fact that the accepted only TRUE proof of a car's performance or potential is on the track and now even that is in question.

This is why we back our times up (if we don't get booted), also my ET and everyone else who posted a time-slip on this Forum or any Forum has there ET reading on the finish line of there ticket not on the 1000 foot time.

Say we took Danny's 1000 foot time from his 10.90 pass, well now his ET is 9.11 had he posted that no one would have questioned it would they..lol.

I hope Worm goes out and runs another mid 11 sec pass, then we would have to pass the towel around to wipe the egg of our face.

No doubt, I am sure that your car is as fast as your sig states. It's all good mate. I'm only pointing out that the rule isn't acually the rule and neither is the exception and one off time slips PROVE nothing. They are just like one off dyno figures, a measure that at that point in time show a vehicles performance. If it backs it up more than once on a dyno then so it should on a track.

All good, I didn't mean to point you out specially, you were just the person who posted above me with a QTR time in their sig.

That is an awesome result.

I'm scratching my head as how you'd do that with a 2.6sec 60' & 124mph.

You must have very slick gear changes. Video will be good to see.

Brian

exactly.

in all honesty worm, not dissing you cuz I hate you, but that is CRAP.

I ran a 660ft time of 8.4sec at 93mph and my 60ft was 2.1 with STREET RUBBER.

never been on the quater as we only have 1/8th mile track here and rained twice when at the 1/4.

MANY manual xr6t's with similar power as me run 12.2/12.6 sec 1/4's.

im sorry but reckon theres HUGE discrepancies in the timers at the last half of your run mate.

serious, do the maths IT DOESNT WORK OUT!!!

Nice 1/8th mile time you have there....

I like how your 1000ft time is .001 sec more than your 1320ft time.. GG calder timers

Mr Man ran 8.9 660ft at 88mph with 297rwkw...

go figure

in all seriousness...

goto heathcote and run it again with the car in the same format it was and if u run a 12.0 sec or faster which shouldnt be hard as its .4 of a sec slower than your "best" time, I will personally pay for your fuel and even a bloody hotel room!!

HONEST.

I will run it again... Not for a while though... Dont want to break anything... Need my car...

We will have to leave this debate until sometime next year!!!

Anyone else think it was ironic that for once I wasn't being a smartarse trying to stir up sh*t!!! But have still managed too :roflmbo:
