Im sorry, But there seems to be a major timing issue there.. 24 mph end of track? NOT 124MPH.. both video and timesheet reflect that.

What were your other runs?

Yeah, didn't show the 1 in the first column all day... dunno why?

The time flashes up on the board @ 22 or 23 seconds.. When I crossed the line my speedo was showing approx 200km/h...

The whole thing goes by in a flash, as most of you know!

The guy who raced me said he was consistently getting 11.5s in his skyline which had 420 hp @ the wheels... Dont know why he would run a 12.2 then? He has no traction problems and was running semi slicks...

He ran an 11.7 on his next run... I ran a 14 flat at about 95MPH, but did nothing but wheelspin and my car was drifting... so pulled off the gas about 150m from the end... My burnout at the start heated the tyres up too much... I also think I got a bit excited and tried to launch too hard... Spun in 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc...

Who cares... LOL I give up...

having a 1000' and ET of the same time indicates that something with the timing is wrong, as asll as a 24mph

Maybe they had the computer misconfigured for 1000' or something :P

Someone else who ran today had a 1000' of 10.719, and a ET of 12.676, with 116mph.

using drag racing math, I think to do a 11.6, a 2.6 60foot time, would need a MPH im guessing of 135 at least..

I'm looking at XRDOSE's timeslip from today(2.39pm) showing 116mph.

The time flashes up on the board @ 22 or 23 seconds..

that's when you crossed the 1000' mark, the time gets displayed, you hadnt past the 1/4mile marker yet.

Considering you were one of the few first cars up, it wouldnt suprise me if its somethig misconfigured..

After watching that video I think there's an error somewhere and that this thread should be moved to The ERROR thread?

Im not trying to discredit anyone, Im just saying, the timing slip is wrong. Timing issue.

Back when I had my XR8, I have a timeslip showing I ran 134mph, with a 14second ET, and a 2.4 60foot.. looking at that definately shows timing error.

If you had a 2nd timeslip/video showing MPH which we'd expect for a Manual doing a 11.6ET, then it would make sense.

What was the MPH of the second pass, when you ran a 14 odd?

got me f*cked?

Actually felt like a really weird run... No wheelspin at all, which I have never had in my car...

I dunno :beerchug:

Looks like I will have to go back to the track again... :-)

Granted there are some percieved anomalies, but the bloke does have a timeslip. Keep it civil people or else the padlock man cometh.

Be warned. As everyone would agree a back up time would repudiate any further debate on the matter.

Yes. At least he has his own broken timeslip.. I've known people to "borrow" other peoples timeslips in the past.. haha!

But yeah, a Backed up timeslip, or a number of timeslips showing fairly similar times upto ones Personal best would best validate it
