I just had a look at the timeslip.

ref http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/uploads/...-1228547020.jpg

Time for:

660' (1/2 track) 9.289, with mph 88.99

1000' 11.672

Full track 11.671

How can you complete the full track in faster time than the 1000'?

Your second half track took just 2.372 secs (11.671 minus 9.289), which would be a new record, as a flat 11 second pass takes 3.7 to 3.8 seconds to do the second 1/2 track with around 400rwkw in an xr6 turbo. Adam Hargraves took 3.258 secs for the 2nd half track when he did the 9.9 sec pass.

By comparison when I did my 11.9, I had a slow 2.2 60', took 8.13 to get to half track at 105mph, and 135mph at full track.

Maybe I have interpreted the timeslip wrong, and don't want to take anything away from you, but it just looks strange.

I wouldnt trust calders time slip info to much there hopeless down there, if the big as yellow flashing sign said 11,671 that's what it run.

if you look at the slip it shows the same thing for the car in the next lane too plus the 1 second.

Dont be a hatter..lol

No problem.

I'm very slow at gear changes, so with good gear changes you should be able to do that time.

It would be better if Calder got their timeslips sorted out so you can make sense of it.

Very dubious at this result.

With that 60' and mph, it just doesn't add up?? Like Brian said, the second half went very quick, but the mph doesn't support it.

Sorry mate, but I think the timing gear may have farted during your run. I don't think it's correct.

(Not having a go at you mate, I think the timing is at fault here.)

If you had have told me I would run a 12.6 yesterday I would have been happy!!!

R-SPEC and I were talking and we were thinking a 12.9 would be nice! LOL

I am in the right lane! LOL Sorry for the sh*t angle, but my mate was filming it...

Pretty sure the time is genuine boys... I take off @ 10.5 seconds and finish @ around 22.5 seconds...

Im sorry, But there seems to be a major timing issue there.. 24 mph end of track? NOT 124MPH.. both video and timesheet reflect that.

What were your other runs?

Pretty sure the time is genuine boys... I take off @ 10.5 seconds and finish @ around 22.5 seconds...

you cross the line around 24-25 seconds in the video...
