Does all that you typed but mine does not chirp on opening doors. Maybe I inadvertantly turned it off or something. Only concern I had is the seems to be no shockl sensor. I kicked sh*t out of the tyres and not a peep from the alarm. Try to get into the car and its a different story. The most enoying alarm you have everheard and boy is it loud!!!
