The past month of so I have been getting extremely frustrated with drivers traveling in the RIGHT HAND LANE doing less then the posted speed limit!!!

:beerchug:

Is it not Australia Road law which states the RIGHT HAND LANE is for OVERTAKING???

Not to sure if it is just me, however this seems to have become more of an issue and happen more often over the past month or so...

Anyone else going crazy?

:beerchug:

Then whats worse - when you do finally manage to get around the car(s) drivers will flick their headlights... WHAT THE FARK FOR???

Motorways - not only over taken by one car but a whole line of 5 or more in most cases as well...

I JUST DONT GET IT!!!

It's nothing new. Its worse when they speed up when you overtake, or after you overtake.

It's law on roads over 80ks, but one that is rarely regulated.

I went up past Newcastle on the weekend and the amount of people who can't stick to one speed is amazing (especially those cars with cruise control). There was a Territory and an SS ute that from Newcastle to Sydney, continually went flying past me, only to slow down and be passed again further down the road. We must have passed each other about 15 times.

On the light flashing, are you butt sitting?

If you are, I'd be going slow and flashing you after you go past too!

NO... JUST A TRUCK OR SOMETHING, THEY WILL GET OUT OF THE WAY THEN IF your NUDGING THEIR REAR BAR!!!

I would have thought - living in Melbourne you would have the same issue, maybe not as bad as the sh17 we go through here in Sydney but still...

Its driving me nuts!!!

Fine you want to do 80 in a 100 zone on the left lane fine!

But why travel beside someone in the right lane doing 80 in the left lane... Then not move when there is a line of cars up your ass!!! :beerchug:

Mate it happens every single day, best thing you can do is go screaming past them then jump back in front and slow down to about 30 whilst giving them the finger.

A mate of mine once got so pissed cause they were sitting on about 50 in and 80 zone that when he got back in front he gradually slowed down to a complete stop. F*cking funny, they just sat there looking at us and going nutz with the horn till we drove off.

Nar mate I cancel cruse and just sit behind them roughly 2-3 car lengths... but do make sure I sit there right on the same speed as them... so it not like I'm honking or waving my hands or anything, however that's what gets to me the most, cos someone else wants to be a slow ass tool on a motorway at 70 or 80 in a 100 zone they think everyone else should do the same...

I just dont get it, surly they can see 5 or more cars all in a line behind them and wonder why...

Now its happening even more on roads in 70 zones... so frustrating!!!

:beerchug:

Theyre probably flashing you tryin to say 'SLOW THE F*CK DOWN YOU IDIOT THERES A SPEEP TRAP AHEAD!'

Your in Kellyville - I'm sure you go down the M2 often enough...

There is no fixed speed cameras between Old Northern Rd and the Lane Cove tunnel... (heading to the city)... It seems to be the one of the worst parts of Sydney for it...

And as I have said before - I'm referring to driver that are doing 70/80 etc in the 100 zone in both lanes not driver doing 100... Therefore why would they be telling a row of 5 or more cars to slow down?

:beerchug:

So sick of it!!! If you cant drive at the speed limit at least - then get the FARK OFF THE ROAD!!! (especially when traveling in the right hand lane!!!)

I travel the M5 everyday to and from work, and have been getting increasingly frustrated by this problem. Most afternoons it is quicker to be in the left lane where you can pass 10 cars in the right lane who are doing 90kmh with no traffic in front of the lead car , and im only doing the speed limit. I don't have a problem with people doing whatever speed there comfortable with, but do it in the left lane.

And most of the people that sit in the right lane doing 10 to 20kmh below the speed limit are P platters

shouldn't they be more up to date on the keep left unless overtaking, that and the fact the by law they are unable to go above 80 or 90.

Another pet hate for those that known the M5 tunnel, is why do we need to slow to a stop on the hills out of the tunnel, there's no traffic light we all have to stop for. Its a hill use the accelarator drive up

I just turn the high beams on. they eventually move.

half the problem is the same people who sit out there dont check their mirrors so they have no idea you (or anyone else in the line of cars stuck behind them) are there. dont bother flashing the high beam either, just leave em on.

It's the people that do the right thing and keep left that cause the problems, if they just sat in the right lane like the other 90% of the population there'd be no dramas.
