Hi Matte,

I have a question for you. When you put the pod air filter into the BA airbox did you get a good induction noise? I have just fitted the F6 lower intake and a k&n air filter. I was hoping for more induction noise. Thanks.

yes you do get the noise.ihave the same set up but a pod installed.you get the turkey noise in the airbox

yeah I had alot of different setups over the course of the cars life. But with the pod there was always alot of induction noise, it varied with the different setups.

You want to find the pod with the highest cfm. There are many different types of pods too, I have a BMC twin conical pod, eg, has the outer cone, and a cone in the tip rather than being blocked off.

The more air you can get to the pod the better, eg F6 CAI or one of the FG XR8 lower sections.

And the more air you can get from the pod to the TB the better - though you may lose a bit of low down torque, it will be made up for in top end.. I guess it depends alot on how you use your revs.

I hope this helps fellas

you could possibly jam a 10' long or so, bit of 3' tubing INSIDE the angled intake on the top lid of the air-box, secure it with a pop-rivet underneath to hide..

then clamp the pod to the remaining pipe hanging out, clip the top lid back down and wallah.

theoretically it would work :sharon: lol its worth a shot!

3 inch exhuast pipe will fit as well.that's what I done .went to the local exhuast shop got a bit of pipe cut .pushed it through the 3 inch opening in the airbox.added the pod filter and put the lid back on
