MaTTe Member 143 Member For: 16y 1m 21d Location: Perth Posted 04/12/08 07:49 AM Share Posted 04/12/08 07:49 AM I'm not sure how different the FG airbox is to the BA.. but when I first put the pod in my BA airbox I used a silicon 3" bend, jammed it into the pipe in the top of the airbox, and put the filter around it. You can use alimunium pipe too, but it's not flexibile so it'd have to be the right size to be tight.Measure the diametre of the inside of the pipe in the top of the airbox, then get something to match.. most speed shops will have what you need..Or you can customise the box like I ended up doing.. or was the word butcher..? When you put the pod air filter into the BA airbox did you get a good induction noise? I have just fitted the F6 lower intake and a k&n air filter. I was hoping for more induction noise. Thanks.
