Im after peoples opinions on what race fuel I should run in my F6, the car will be making some big horsepower and would like to hear other peoples experience or advice.

Does anyone know about E85 fuel, is that any good? I've heard conflicting statements

Cheers

Try these guys for hi performance unleaded race fuels....

I know a few people who have used this stuff and they've all been happy with it.

Doesn't kill your wallet either.....

SUNOCO 104 - unleaded

ELF 102 - unleaded

VP 109 - unleaded

MARTINI 110 - unleaded

C16- is a leaded fuel, it is illegal to use in our cars and will melt your cat if u are running one

See what your tuner is comfortable with, as they all have different opinions on high octane fuels

Are you having CV tune it again?

If so, I'm sure they'll be leaning toward's VP C16 leaded fuel.

na mate, not CV. was not really happy with the service they provided at all. I went up there with my mates ute as well because I reconmended them to him and both of us were not pleased with the cars. We both got charged extra for items not included in the quote and Con's tunes did funny things to both cars. So im leaving the tuning of the new motor / turbo set up to the capable hands of Pat's (Senna_T) tuner.

What was going on with the car's after the tune's man?

well for both cars, straight after the tune, the cruise control now has a mind of its own, we took both our cars back and they said "easy fix" well the problem never went away. On the ute, when you give it 50% throttle the turbo cuts in and out like your pushing the accelerator to the floor and off again, this also was meant to be a "easy fix" but still the problem remains. On my car since getting the mods and tune done a CV, everytime I would back off on full boost the car would make a weird woosh sound out of the turbo, it sounded like it was trying to push air out. and before anyone says anything, I know the sounds of my car and no it was not turbo back pressure, nor was it the bov, nor was it any type of flutter. I had the car checked over but no problem could be found. When they took my front bar off they didnt connect my fog lights because they were in a hurry to get to the track and race. The customer service was not very good at all and would not reconmend them to anyone.

Dont forget you may also need a ANDRA licence to purchase some of the above mentioned race fuel.

Once or twice its easy enough to get around, it turns into a pain in the ass if you have to buy the stuff on a regular basis, trust me.
