We dont ever get topics on drivers wishing to turn there ABS off. Also if your a BF owner and you turn the T/C off, then you are also turning off the stability control (DSC). The DSC should never be turned off and did me a little favour recently on a patch of black ice, in that it did what it was suppose to do and worked perfectly. This topic has come up a few times and there are many viewes on it.I.B. I.B.If there was a little button on my dashboard that said ABS off then when circumstances allow (like gravel roads) I would be flicking that off as well.I've only activated the ABS on my car a couple of times in the two & half years I've owned it where as the TC would cut in everytime I get in the car, which really pisses me off. The way the TC cuts in the BA's doesn't really inspire me with confidence, it just feels hard on the car & my nerves.Just my 2 cents. You could easily say that I dont need airbags cause ive never crashed. With big mods there may be some issies but otherwise leave the damn thing alone. I really think the only reason its switchable is to allow for burnouts.I.B. A mild custom tune with an auto will have it activating at the most inconvenient times.I just hate having my car jump around like drunk Wallaby when I give it even a small boot up the ass with the TC on. Doesnt feel very safe to me. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/52098-traction-control/#findComment-777987 Share on other sites
