I just ticked over 40,000ks and I've got heaps of meat left after a track day and some highly legal sprints to stupid speeds with heavy braking. Apparently they'll last 1 machine then the rotors need to be replaced, but I'm not too sure. There are ways of making it less expensive if you don't go to places like Ford to get new brakes...

EG.

SET OF FRONT PADS ONLY

OEM Ford - $1005!!!

EBC Pads from Repco - $850

Pads from BGT - $450

Pads from Race Brakes - $240

The rotors have the same storey. It's not what you know, it's who you know can get them for you! :idunno:

New Brembo rotors $600 from a member on this site

New EBC green pads $ 490 from Peps Auto

Fitting in the morning, got 38,000 aprox hard braking most of the time.

I only got 32,000km from my pads, replaced them with Racebrakes recommended ones for $330

The rotors are a bit fubar, but will last another set of pads then I will be going with DBA5000 for the rotors as the brembo OE ones are too soft.
