We had some people in our street with lights up in October I'd love to go crazy with lights but only just moved into the new place so funds are limited. Every house in my streets puts up lights and looks great. Christmas eve we have a Street Christmas Party when all the men dress up as Santa jump on the back of a flatbed truck and cruise the streets handed out lollies to all the kids and big kids too.After we run out of lollies we return back to the street down a few beers then make our way to a near by roundabout and sing Christmas Songs for a couple of hours whilst still drinking. It's pretty funning seeing 20 odd Pissed Santa's trying to sing. Over all it's a great night that the whole community gets involved. Even the local Emergency Services come a check it out.
