Must have tested the car in the winter, if it was summer they would realised the aircond doesnt work properly.

...or it could have been one of the 99.99% of FGs with perfect A/C. I know it sounds unlikely but highly probable.

And if not then just sell the fcker :spit:

travelled 260 klm yesterday, what a nice comfortable car this is, like I said on previous posts I have not had a ford for a long time because of quality issues.

I cannot believe the improvement.

1 instrument panel & gauges well laid out

2 stereo sounds good to me, contrary to posts on this site.

3 the doors shut with a nice soft thud ,unlike the old clunk

4 great 6 speed automatic box

5 love the ipod, reversing camera. sensors in the rear vision mirror, what they put in this car actually works, surprise, surprise.

anyway got to go for a drive lol, try out the twisty"s today. Pakenham to Warburton ,marysviis for lunch thru the black spurr to Healesville ,emerald and home

my son in-law owns a r8 clubby supercharged, goes like the clappers. he took the g6et for a spin yesterday and said I want one. could not believe what I heard hes a Expensive Daewoo nut

oh gee guys I missed that post,

if only I had seen that I would have come along for sure.next time

the last 10 or so cars have all been new ones, so I wasn't all that excited about getting another one.

but when I got it home and had a good look at it.I wanted to know how it all worked so I started reading the manual till late friday night, this is when the

juices started flowing it reminded me when I was 23, when I bought a xw gt. I know you guys will think this is stupid but I had a good look at it, but never test drove this thing before I bought it.but to my surprise its better than I thought it would be ,for a ford. what I enjoy about this car is

1 that I can use its power

2 cruise at a lazy 80 around the hills, corners very well

3 sit on a 100 or 110 in a lap of luxury

4 biggest thing of all its a car for all season's

and I have only had this bloody thing 3 days I am rapped

hi guys

just been up to mildura and back,no problems at all.

I bought a car bra for the trip, but we did not see any locust at all. glad I bought one because I had plenty of other bugs all over the front of it.

when I got home it only took 2 Min to clean with a brush, it fits like a glove, and no issue with scratches anywhere, I would recommend it to anyone.

travelled 1305 klm average of 9.5 Lt/100. very happy with those figures and that's with full throttle a dozen times passing other cars, wow it goes.

temperature was between 28 to 35 deg, and the air con worked well,we had it on auto at 20 deg very comfortable

NOW A FEW FAULTS

1 when I wash the bonnet it buckles in the middle, they should have put strengtheners or another fold there.

2 behind the front wheel on the guards and that skirt, the plastic holding it all together. crap, crap, crap, same as the back quarter panel they try to make a great car,and don't finish it of properly stupid twits.

3 rubber seal around right hand back door came loose the length of the door.

4 after washing the car I have to open the boot lid to clean the top bumper bar, also the gutters where the hinges are they collect a lot of dirt.

5 first thing in the morning when the motor is cold , and I take of slowly there is a soft cluck within the first 20 meters, somewhere underneath the car that's the only time it happens,??

DONT GET ME WRONG I am very happy with my g6et love it ,but that's the difference between locally produced cars, and the European or japs they pay attention to small details

anyway went for my 3000 service, they fixed the rubber seal, put a few screws in the plastic bits, GOOD SERVICE,NO COMPLAINTS THEY DID WHAT THEY HAD TO DO,

NOW HERE'S THE THING :fishin: only because of what I read on this site, I though I would ask them about the aircon, told them I was happy with it, but is that as cold as it gets .??? iam happy with it ok . but they checked it out for me anyway lol, guys they need the car 2 days to fix the aircon because they tell me there's a blockage  think its a regulator, there is nothing wrong with my aircon but I think they are upgrading it, and they will check out that knock at the same time.

sorry about the long post

"when I wash the bonnet it buckles in the middle"

Same thing happened to me the first time I washed the car. It really does need some bracing. I now wash the bonnet very gently.

Who did you get the car bra from? I'm driving from Brissy to Melbourne in April and would like to fit one.

No apology needed. We are here to care and share.

Good to hear that you are enjoying your car.

Do you play Bowels as we now have quite a team
