I've got an '05 BA with stock springs and have only just starting to have problems at 322kW but I still have the stock cat, I'm hoping they'll come good once I fix that.

I've been told its a bit of pot luck as to whether you need valve springs or not so it might be worth waiting till you actually encounter problems...

is that 322rwkw? :spit:

Some go earlier than others mate, generally once the car is tuned with injectors your tuner will be able to find the limit of the BA springs, budget around $900 for supply and install - sometimes its cheaper, but that used to be the going rate...

moral of the story is, every car, every set of springs and every tune is different. Do your mods and get your tune, if at the time your tuner says you need valve springs, get them done then. There is no set rwkw figure that these springs to letgo..from this forum it could be anything from 250-350>rwkilla wasps
