Had mine from new ($0, thank you dealer) and I just did a long trip on country roads. Spent 3 hours washing her and I've got to say that I think the spats are definately worth it.

Very little dirt up the sides ... a million bugs up front though ... any thoughts on how to avoid this (no bra!).

Don't drive it! Are you mad man!!

I waited nearly 4 months for this car and I'm damned sure I'm going to drive it. Drive it like it is in heat, on all fours ... one hand to grab it by the ponytail and one hand to slap it's arse when it slows down ... YeeeHaaa!

BTW, who said the bra had anything to do with body building ... sweety.

You could always try SWMBO on the bonnet. She'd be yelling that hard no bug on the planet could get past her mouth

Apparently 3M do a contact-like film that you can have put on, designed specially for cars.

Won't keep the bugs off, but it protects the paint when they hit.

the spats might keep the dirt off,but dont ya reckon the look, you know, kinda dickky-just my opionion.

I thought that they might have looked a bit average and put off buying mine for 5,000kms.

When I fitted them, I wondered how I survived without them!

I think they look very good, especially with blueprint, the black contrasts nicely.
