Sick Of Constant Cleaning

Well, I got sick of constantly having mud, grime, etc along the side of my car, so I finally got around to getting some mud spats fitted. I only got them on Friday and it hasn't rained here in Adelaide since then, so I haven't had a real chance to see how much difference they make yet. However, I have noticed a small amount of dirt on the mud spats which would otherwise most likely have ended up on the doors. So at this stage I'm pleased.

The forecast is for showers all week here in Adelaide, so I'll let you know how pleased I am or aren't after a few days of rain.

I did the same a while back...the pain of paying $100 for them has subsided and I'm happy with the result

I dunno. Don't buy 'em thinking it will stop 100% of splatter. I have had vertical mud spatter a few times, which I guess might be better than splashing all over the door but...

I will admit that the panels immediately behind the spats are generally cleaner than those that aren't, but visible spatter can still appear (especially on lower part of rear doors).

A visible 'spray pattern' can also appear - generally follows the contour of the side skirts, rising higher the further back you go.

Or maybe I should just wash the car more often

They are worth their weight in gold...

No more crap at the bottom of the doors :D

I wouldn't take Gadan out of the dealership without them on..

I eneded up fitting them myself.

Yep I was in the same boat-coming back from the carwash and already the dirt starting to show :nugget: -the mudspats don't eliminate everything but stop a good whack of it-only paid 52$ so they were worth it for me

The mus spats ARE worth their weight in gold. (Keeping in mind they are quite light - sorry bad sense of humor).

Anyway - I had the car for 3000kms before I bought them and they certainly make a huge difference.
