Hi guy's,

coming right up on the silly season now and there are cruises planned and all sorts of other things, so just wondering if there was any interest in having a Dyno Day before the year is out?

Dyno Days have never really been a huge success on here, I think a better idea would be to organise a big full weekend one with BBQ/Beer and the likes in the new year some time.

Dyno days are good every once in a while I reckon but get a little boring after the same type car keeps coming on over & over. Mixed days are much more interesting!

sounds like a good plan to me dillz. How do we go about organising one ?

Well first you need a suitable venue, the rest is pretty simple.

dyno days are pretty boring I rekon coz 90% of the people who put their cars on the dyno already know what sort of power to expect. I think there should be more track/1/4 mile days where we can put the numbers to good use!

For me being a new T owner I have never experienced what a dyno day is like for any car. I have never even been to one, so for me it would be far from boring. I'm sure there are new member's who would like to come along and also members who have not had a run on the dyno for a while who also would like to come along.

Obviously there's a large amount of people who have done it and are happy doing more cruises or track days etc which is fine as I'm looking forward to taking part in those, but the last time my car was on the dyno was a few months ago with the previous owner so am curious to see how it and others go.

Plus it's a good opportunity to meet other drivers and talk about what they have while you're actually looking at the car. I think at this stage maybe a day planned in mid to late January even. If there are any workshops that are interested please let me know and we can work out some details.

Cheers

Brad
