Was wondering if I require a surge tank.. basically I'm looking at some drift with some track work.. I'm up grading the injectors just woundering

if I should run a surge tank with a pump and use the stock one as a feeder? I'm after about 300rwkw BA MKII

Would I get away with running a walbro intank pump?

I would deffinatly reccomand a surge tank.. especially if u run below half a tank of fuel.. when u accelerate hard, the fuel moves towards the back of the tank and if your pump dont get enuff fuel will do some decent damage.. a xr6t down at my tuners did that exact thing.. a surge tank garuenntees atleast 1-3L of fuel right there for the pump to suck in.. and say if your intank pump fails.. u have atleast enuff fuel to realise somethings wrong... not find out halfway thru a drift hittin 5000 rpm..
