Wheel Alignment

Had a wheel alignment done and not the wheel is off centre.

How can I fix this my self

if its a non airbag car you can simply remove the wheel and straighten it or if its your t the alignment has to be redone simply because the t's steering wheel only bolts in one place on the steering shaft.The aligner should redo it free of charge.I hope it helps

Had the same thing recently in the other car with the steering wheel off-centre as a result of a wheel alignment. They took the car back and fixed it up at no charge. Used a Jax tyre centre.

This happens to me every time I get an alignment.

Here's what I do:

1.Put the front up on the ramps

2. Mark the tie rod ends with a marker pen so I can return them to the original position if required.

3. Loosen the locking nut and turn the rods say 90deg to start with.

4. Tighten lock nut and take for a test drive.

5. Adjust again if required.

If you want to move the steering wheel clockwise you need to screw the LH tie rod in and the RH tie rod out.
