I'm guessing no mid-range and a shallow power band. Zero timing down low effectively rendering your car useless off boost.

No torque limitations turned down won't help.

Post up a dyno chart so we can see what you've been dealt - or post a link to it if you have.

260rwkw done right, should smoke the tyres thru 2nd in a roll on - .

A guy at work has an N/A, dead stock and he can smoke 1st to 2nd and leave black lines up the road.. He gives his xr6 HELL though...

ok I will post up one soon and im changing gears near 6000rpm from 1st to 2nd

I think I may have the answer for you, XR6T has a rev limiter at 6000rpm. In mine if (auto) if I hang on to 1st (when unsing sequential shift) all the way to 6000 rpm with out changing gears it has a momential loss of power untill I flick it up into 2nd. I think you may be experiencing that same thing, try changing at say 5500 rpm and see what happens. My guess is you are still excellerating after you clutch so the revs are hitting the 6000rpm mark and the rev limiter is kicking in.

That's miles too late - your not making torque up there.

5000 - 5400 is best, dependant on the tune. Get your run up and it'll show you where to change. (just after peak torque drops off)
