Hey guys,

Im here in WA and recently got a few mods done to my 05 xr6t Ba mk11 (4 speed auto) and im taking it down to the 1/4 mile next week.

im just wondering what should I expect.

So far I've got 3" exaust

78 pound injectors

cold air intake

and a tune all besides exaust, done by Simon.

He told me I didnt need value springs or fuel pump just yet because my cars pretty good as it is and doesnt need it for now.

Im looking to change the intercooler very soon!

Currently I've got 260.9 kwrw

Im abit nervous because I really want her to do good. I guess it depends on the car and driver too and some engines are just beasts by nature but I would really appreciate an estimate and whats the next best thing I can do to get them kw higher! Im aiming for 12's.

Cheers

yeh, I ran 12.7 with 310.. on street tyres.. also major traction issues.. I would put my money on a mid to low 13.. considering its your first time out their.. it just takes a lot of practice to get great times.. if u wanna get 12's, throw some mt's or hooziers on and with the right launch u should get it.

Should run a mid to high 12's easy!!!! just make sure u stall it up nice and hard on the line as this will net u a good 60ft time, resulting in a good et. Oh and if running street tyres dont go over board on the burnout and drop the pressure in the tyres a little.. most important have fun!! :spoton:

High 12 will be achievable in the 4 speed with that power on street tyres so long as you get a decent stall, do a good burnout & drop pressures. I did a 12.4 @ 115mph with 295rwkw & a 11.7 @ 122mph with 345rwkw at the Plex on street tyres with the zf 6 speed auto for comparison :spoton:

My 4spd auto ran 13.1 with 263rwkw. With a bit more traction I reckon it would have broken into the 12's.

thankx guys yea at the moment ive got standard 17" street tyres.

any ideas what I should do next?

im set on getting 12 seconds but im pretty sure if I get it il keep going until I cant do anything more to the car.

ive got a few ideas on what I should do but im just unsure what would have the most effect on the kw.

Ive got a mate with a bombed f6 typhoon and his now got 517 rwhp

This things a jet and his still not done with it

Hi Mate,

Stock XR6T BF ZF 6SPD- generic tune only and MT streets - 12.3 @115mph

On street tyres and 260rwkw you should run a 12.7-13.0 @112mph pending on temps and track conditions
