I thought I'd check if anyone has come across this problem before, I have a BA MK2 T and on two occasions the car would not start the only way I could get this to start is to change the gears from park to drive then back to park. I have no idea where to begin on this. Any ideas? :idunno:

Probably the start inhibitor/sensor is faulty. Can you start it in neutral?

Hopefully Mike the Amazing will be along shortly with his auto-electrical know-how and will tell you exactly what to look at.
