Hey... ok well recently ive been having 2 problems with my ute...

The first one is the car is finding it really hard to keep its revs at 100rpm its at about 700 then drops, sometimes does it a little bit, but today it was doing it the whole time I was driving it. At one stage while I was driving I put it in neutral be4 I got close to the red lights and while I was slowing down, it like stoped (stallled?) then I got home and left it running for a few minuites and I could hear it reving up to 1000 rpm and droping again... The car is the 5speed manual not sure if that helps but yeh. What's causing this problem?

2nd. Im not sure if this will relate to problem 1 but, when I get into the car as I turn it on the cars aircond is like on ( well its all put on left setting so not turned on) but sais A/C MAX and with the flow in from the outside air in. So I put A/C off and the flow in from outside air off and then few seconds later it will like reset it back so it was as if I never closed it...

These two have been really stressing me out lately, any help will be aprecheated.

Cheers, Zaff.

g'day mate. How many kms has your car done? A throttle body clean will probably help you out a fair bit with the idle problem.

As for the A/C Problem, when you turn the tempereature knob all the way to the left and it clicks over to A/C MAX, This automatically sets the flow to recirculation (so the little loop inside the car) and changes the vents to the dash vents pointing at your face. If you click it just off A/C MAX you can set it to recirculation or fresh air and whatever vent you want, this might be where your getting lost but I'm not too sure!

RATED X, have you had your car custom tuned?

When I first got mine done I seem'd to have the same problem your having.

Try resetting your TPS - Put your keys in the off position, Floor it, leave it floored then try to start it. Release, back to off then try to start it. (Should start and possibly your issue fixed)
