A lot of investors bought up oil stocks as a result. When the sh*t hit the fan they all started seling off their oil, creating a glut and greatly reducing the price. Also, people are turning more and more to diesel and more fuel efficient cars, so fuel volumes are down. One servo I used to get 98 from on the weekends sold 98 for 11c more but when I rocked up last week it was 18c more. I've been using United 100 octane for 10c more. Filled up for 128.9c without discount. On a side note, I've been having some issues with breaking down and the such lately. Did plugs, not change. Did ford genuine coils, and the car is ridiculous once again. The difference is huuuuge. Sit on 70, dump it and by 80 or so its turning the wheels and sideways. Hasn't done that for a while...
