Singapore has been around $1 for months. Their dollar is pretty much on par with ours and we're supposed to be tied into their pricing.

Anothr failed Rudd promise!

I filled up at a Caltex last Friday with Vortex 98 for 122.9. The ULP price was 108.9! No other servo in the area (Woodville Rd) was within 5cpl

Ha ha yeah, I actually remember when I could have banked each week it was 8 cpl... then 10, not 14... its a rip!

Anyways it would be amazing to see (which im not sure will happen) for 98oct to be under a 1$...

Personally believe we should never have to pay more then a $1 lt for petrol, its just crazy...But them days are gone I think... (for 98oct I mean...)

TO be honest I'm ok with paying less than 1.50 per litre for 98, its when it gets up past that when you really feel it! When I first bought my car it cost me about $65 to fill, recently it was up to almost $90! Five or ten dollars I don't mind, but when its bordering on $30 per tank - I get a bit miffed!

Ive never seen it more then 10c higher then the regular stuff, though I really only ever fill up at the 2 same servos. The Caltex on Camden valley way for the past 2 years has always had it 10c higher, but yet to see 14.

And I do remember when it was 8c higher and so be it. Maybe all this extra marketing effort that now goes in to the premium stuff where all paying for. Ever since that 95 sh*t came onto the market it pushed the 98 higher.

Petrol pricing is the greatest fraud of all time.
