I agree, he was robbed. I wouldn't be surprised if it has anything to do with Larry's outspoken comments with regard to the officials in the past. He certainly didn't hold back after it happened.

Did he ever!

Love Crompton’s comment...something along the line of “not sure if I would have gone that far”

But rightly so. Even Tim Edwards was getting a bit emotional about it.

Oh and love the late-night telecast, everything goes to air without censorship. :spoton:

Ford have to win the championship this year otherwise it may be a few years before they get another opportunity to do so, what I have heard next years FuGy race car is going to be way slower than the VE, and its good to see Skaife stepping aside to give a younger driver a go so he can concentrate on running his team.

Not you again. Be careful not to slip on your pool of dribble pet :innocent:

Expensive Daewoo is hoping the PG will be slower. Until it runs we just won't know the truth, but it'll hardly be way slower considering the only real changes will be body panels. Apart from that, some of the teams were already trialing the new motor configurations for the FG in their BFs in Bahrain. The motors are supposed to produce more power so that should overcome any additional drag from the FG panels.

Also, get out of your mate Skaife's arse. It's not his team and he's not stepping aside. He was replaced by Davidson. He was offered a 3rd car as a consilation, but he didn't want to be a second stringer. Don't worry though, you'll still get to see him slowing up other drivers when he comes back to partner in the endurance races. Maybe he could team up with Morris, now that would be an even pairing!

cant see why the FG would be any slower than the BF theres no major weight difference and the FG should be more powerful....or am I wrong? :idunno:

oh yeh and I think bahrain is an awesome track I hate seeing races where theres only 2 overtaking opportunities makes for a sh1t boring race.

Great outcome for the 888 team and FORD.

Hope Craig can get enough points to punt Tander from third.

Did anyone else think the Skaife interview after he crashed into Tander a bit strange...???

From memory it went abit like this (this is not a direct quote)...

So Skaifie, tells us what happened.

I saw the trouble down at the corner, so braked hard and tried to get out of the way but ran into Garth, ooopps (big smile and shrug of sholders)???!!!

Do I read abit of rivalry here between Skaife & Tander????

Bahrain, yes great track but no one there.

Bahrain, yes great track but no one there.

It's more about sponsor dollars, TV viewers etc. Bahrain gives the sponsors much wider exposure for their dollar, keeps em paying.

The Arabs pay AVESCO a bucket load of cash to host it. Doesn't matter if no one goes, it's all covered.
