I fitted the sound deadner mat off my XR6 bonnet onto my XR8 bonnet, the holes are all in the same place. Theres about 3-4 that dont get clipped cause its where the hump is. I was told the glass ones or at least the grafted ones crack around were they join the steel from the heat of the turbos. I am yet to see an actual part of transport regulation that states these are illegal, not saying that they arn't just that I cant find it in QLD transports web sight.
