You sure got a good price and if the price you quoted realy includes GST and ORC (never mind the free fuel  ). Let us in on the secret of your negotiating powers and which dealer was so acomodating.

I'll jump in with my pricing

Base BA XR Sedan $38,535

Barra240T Motor $6,550

Exterior Blood Orange $255

Premium Sound $900

Leather $1980

Premium Brakes $2,950

misc other options like window tinting, herrod suspension kit, carpet mats etc etc

Dealer Delivery $1,507

Vehicle Price inclusive of GST $55,153 (GST was $5,013.19)

ACT Rego Private Passenger $776.80

govt Stamp Duty $1,860 (total rip off.. a tax on a tax..)

Total $57,000 or thereabouts. Unfortunatly I got hit with the price rise and likely will get hit by the next one because of a clause in the contract "Manufacturers recommended retail price applies at time of delivery".

I managed to negotiate a fleet buyer discount through work. Gregorys didn't want to give it to me at first but iwas rather insistent! There are different levels of fleet discounjt available - others on this forum have managed to wangle several thousand off the price. There's another thread about it some where...

Nothing personal.....but

Not really, I got some discount myself cause it was a fleet car, but nowhere near the TOLL deal.

Good luck to you really.

Is there another price rise going through? (Apologies if there's already a thread on this). How much more shall they be extracting from our wallets?

With all my options for My T , total of car on the road was $43350 (see sig). The dealer actually gave me the full price list of teh TOLL discount. It shows the RRP, wholesale price, discount dealer has to play with, fleet price. It does not show minor options such as mud spats, weather shields mats ect. When filling in all the paper work, it pained him to finish writting the final price out to the above amount.

Conditions are that the car must be registered in the emplyees name (my wife) for 6 months before transferring, and you cannot sell the car in the 6 month period. the employee is entitled to purchase 2 cars using this discount.

My wifes condition was ...no speed tickets as she will cop them all.
