GMH are already launching the VY series 2, adverts n TV having "run out" sales on the series 1 models. You'd have to be pissed that that!.

In the AGE today they have indicated that the changes are minor across most of the range with cruise being standard, climate control bundled with leather interior (no mention of cost), and the obligatory indicator, rear lights, and trim changes, cosmetic for the most part. The most significant change mentioned is the new exhaust on the "SS" which will raise the power from 253kw to 245kw. Now that will scare us "T" owners  Prices will go up by about 1% except for the Calais which is apparently up by $1500, but for that you get a revised front facia, "SS" style side skirts, new 17" alloys and an extra 10kw to 235kw.

I know this is a bit crazy, but I'm going to say it anyway......

I personally like the look of the vy ss.......but not as much as the xr

Nothing worng with that. l like the look of the SS, it looks much better than any of the other VY's and really makes the HSV versions look 'try hard'.

We considered the SS before deciding on the T. That was only 9 months ago and now the series 2 is being released.

Unbelievable

Expensive Daewoo keep extracting poofy little power increases with 'exhaust mods'. Why didn't they just do this in the first place to the first Gen 3 that was released. By the way, will more power = louder piston slap and more oil consuption?   suckers!!!!!!!

I wondered how long it would be before a post appreared like this. I thought exactly the same thing!.

245kw. Pfft. Bring it on sucker! B)

I bet U Geoff is laughing. The boys at broady most likely have the Series 2 bits on the shelf just ready to push the change button. But alast.. They cant make enough of the BA Series 1 so why change when you are on a good thing!!

I for one am glad U Geoff stayed where he is rather then go the AFL CEO job.. At last we have a chief boss man at Broady that has what it takes to make the Blue Oval in Oz what it should be!

Run out sales for the series 1 VY's. Hasn't that been happening for the past 6 months. They will do anything to keep there sales up. Resale values will be poor. The BA must be really troubling them.
