A mate of mine has an 05' Impreza sti and whenever he has to get any work done he takes digital pics of the car outside the place where the work is getting done, with the date showing. He has only had to use the pics once, after he had work done and they had scrapped one of his wheels. He produced the pics and they paid for the repair, but before they were shown the pics they also tried to say it wasnt their fault. Sucks to have to go to those lengths I guess but like what was mentioned before there is definatlely dishonest pri#ks out there who just dont give a damn.

dont let them get away with it, there are to many businesses out there that think they can walk all over the customer and get away with it. im sure that big al (cooltint) could help out with the tint or even get him to call them, if anyone knows big al he will talk to them for so long that they will loose more than $100 hahahahaah

I did loose it but I had 2 days to clam down before I talked to them and I still wanted them to fix the scratch. The thing that still really annoys me is the fact that the owner of the business didn't even have the balls to talk to me himself instead he just sent his lacky to do it for him. Well the old saying is the best advertising is word of mouth and I don't have 1 good thing to say about them

If you paid by credit card, then stop the payment based on the work not being to your satisfaction.

You have tried to solve the problem with the merchant, so Vsa/MC will just reverse the payment.

You can also put in a complaint with the local department of fair trading and they will give the tinter a bit of grief.

Do not get mad by damaging stuff, get even by being a PIA. They might think twice about not fixing their F..kups.

Not defending them but think about it. Some guy comes back saying hey you broke this and that etc, how do you know this guy isn't talking sh!t trying to rip you off. Unless you spoke to the pleab who actually done it and not the manager you can't expect to get a straight answer. But saying you are going to take it further and setting wheels in motion will show the manager you aren't some druggie peice of sh!t trying to make a quick $$
