Ford knows reliability has little to do with their problems.

Expensive Daewoo have the worst record for reliability for any vehicle available in Australia, yet they continue to dominate in sales.

Alfa Romeo have a reputation worldwide for building crap, but people still buy them, knowing they're going to rust or break down.

The current Corollas have had a lot of reliability issues, but people will generally still say they're bullet proof.

IMAGE IS EVERYTHING (Ford just doesn't understand that).

I think that every make and model could have dramas u just have to be the unlucky one to get one of these. I use to have a Expensive Daewoo ute and it had drama after drama, yet my mate had same ute with nothing. Now I own a fg done 4500km and no dramas yet, so its a plus so far for me

lol sorry to bring this topic up again, but mine does the same, on light acceleration (spool up) the bloody thing has an annoying whistle! and goes away as soon as it reaches boost, specialy noticeable on light stabs of the throttle!

Ford reckons its fine, but my bros fg doesnt do it.

Now ive been around turbos for a long time, when they whislte it means their frkt!
