Im thinking bayswater automatics or yarra valley as I know a few people with autos from both, but any advice appreciated. Thanks.

I recently got a full rebuild from RVO in Dandenong South (Dave on 97945004). Seriously, it feels like an awesome trans. Time will tell how awesome but I don't have too many doubts and Dave backs his work. He knows his stuff and is passionate about his transmissions. A full "race" rebuild is around $2900 fitted. He does a couple of things a little different from other builders. A couple are bushing on the input shaft and the type of clutch material he uses. Give him a call and he'll fill you inAnd always ask for an itemised list of modifications so you know what you are getting for your hard-earned. I would highly recommend Bayswater.Cheers

"Time will tell.."Best take it to someone whos earnt a bit of reputation like the names of Yarra Valley, and Bayswater Automatics.

As far as reputations go, this forum isn't the be-all and end-all of good mechanics in all areas of the automotive industry now is it? Seek and you shall find.Dave from <freeplug>RVO Performance Transmissions in Dandenong (call 97945004 and don't forget to ask for Dave)</freeplug> has an RVO built BTR 4 speed behind a 400+ rwkw T in QLD seeing which has seen regular strip time for over a 2 year period and it is still in one piece. I suppose that's a decent amount of time... But everyone's experience is different and we'll see how mine goes. Perhaps RVO will gain a good reputation on this forum through my experience with his transmissions.Peace out.
