Wasnt a high dollar item but when it comes to theft I dont see the difference between a can of coke or a ferrari. People who steal anything deserve a beating at best I reckon. This product had actually been paid for and the person was coming in to pick it up in about 20minutes!Anyway these guys take off on their pushies and have a 2min head start before me and a workmate jump in my car and chase after them (speed limits of course..) through Ozzy Park (wa guys will know its an industrial area). We come across them and they are trying to out run us LOL but not really getting anywhere. Old boy is getting VERY tired and managed to escape down near the freeway. He was on a brand new giant bike and didnt look like he could afford it. It was so funny driving along side him telling him what we thought when hes peddaling so hard hahahaQuick search or some back streets revealed the other guy with the item. We chased him HARD and I dropped off my mate (good christian bloke who was VERY amped lol) to chase him. Mate chases him over the freeway bridge and almost catches him. I turn around and we almost had him cornered before he escaped through some bushes.Few minutes later we come across him and hes VERY tired and looking not so tough. He turns around and aims straight for my car. While I think violence is stupid and pointless, I wont tolerate sh*t and I think he realised not a good thing to cause trouble with someone who stands 195cm tall and tips the scales at a solid 125kg! Needless to say he hands over the product, so I leave him be!Crazy to think that they honestly thought peddaling faster down the hills would outrun the boosted fords lol

Should have put him in the boot and shown him how well the T handles the corners and thrown in a few speed bumps for good measure.

I would report them to the Really no point around here :( Cops seem more interested in worrying about people doing 10kms over the speed limit than actually committing crimes... Not to mention that if they did end up in court, they'd just get a slap on the wrist. Its just nice to see the look on these morons face when they know they have hit the lowest of lows and stolen something worth so little and have been caught doing so. Vigilante action FTW. Edited 01/11/08 09:51 AM by Mat

Drunk old boy looked about 50 and would probably blow over in the breeze. Young guy, early 20's whose mouth, attitude and rats tail was bigger than he was when he first came in asking for advice. The way he gave the item back was interesting. He actually handed it to me rather than drop it and ride off. Maybe next time he'll think, "oh sh*t, better not try this on again". Most likely not thoughThe plates on my car are pretty easy to remember and they where its parked BUT its within eye sight and insured for a good amount so no biggie. Also the fire ext. at the passengers seat might be like a big can of pepper spray :DStef, the bike definitely looked too fancy and new to be theirs.. Did u have any suspicions? They have come into work before riding on their bikes so they must be local to OP Edited 01/11/08 01:59 PM by Mat
