As the weeks tick over the Spirit of Tas site updates with new prices etc. im still looking into accomodations along the route that was suggested earlier by ETM so will post those when I have them.Brad Edited 07/11/08 06:07 AM by Sleeper6T

See what others think aswell. So far looks like Sept-Oct 2009, as this is off peak and thus freakin' cheaper but also enough time to plan thing really well. Although you want to make sure everyone's right for the first day's drive. Unless we were to stay in say Davenport the first night and spend the day having a look around, possibly even getting some fuel reserves etc and getting everyone up to speed with what the routes were, and when we planned to reach each okace each day and all that. I'm open to suggestions nothing set in stone yet.Brad

I had a look on the V8 Website, and the Tassie round is in November so I dont know if that would make it hard for us if we wanted to have a race/drag day or not ? The ones above have accomodations to lodge 20 plus people, and that have fairly decent rates. I am also getting a listing of Caravan Parks together and will post those details when I have more. Some places have said that booking's for the Sept-Nov time period in 2009 are best to have booked March-April 2009. So either pm or just in the thread like a normal cruise is fine.CheersBrad
