what part are u guys struggling with? :hohum:

first I asked a technical question that very few might have an answer to....ok it wasnt for everyone and maybe I should of started a new thread :bangcomputer:

then it jumped onto cost hows that hard to keep up with? :dontknow:

Speed of airflow and table tunes etc is what got me. They're all pretty much the same only difference would be size and b/p over t/f. If one cooler is better then the other it would only be marginal, I doubt it would flow so much that it needs special tuning.

Dunno that's just my take on it.

that's where "I think its different"

I know its just pipes and a cooler nothing super special but I thought someone in the know would have a quick fix answer I believe it to be fairly technical so that's why I asked.

looks like it maybe just a fg f6 thing or I may have a intermitnt issue that's not throwing up fault codes yet

sounds like my car is just being a pain in the freaking ass ive only changed plugs,coil packs,fuel filter and the cooler kit and now issues mainly over boost issues through the tuning process

Yeah I would say the cooler would be the last thing causing overboost (if tuned properly).

Interesting one but agree coolers only really differ in their ability to cool air with minimal pressure loss. In my case, my car pinged slightly when I fitted the PWR cooler with my old 12psi tune, because I was getting more boost due the efficiency of the cooler and pipe kit over stock. The factory FG XR6T cooler loses approximately 3 psi across the core. The PWR stepped is under 1 psi. Yes the AIT's are significantly lower, but I gained 2 psi which threw the tune out.

yeh my car is having issues past 15psi for some unknown reason there is definately more to this story just have to wait to see what it is its just taking so long :bangcomputer:
