Hi have been thinking about joinging the saturday arvo sprints series at willowbank for road registered cars and was wondering if anyone else participates in this level of motorsport and what they think of it. I have only done a small amount of research on it so far and one question that has come up is regarding the cams licence, I am unsure if the licence required (level 2 speed) covers you for just the event or is it for 12 months.

I intend to use my mazda 6 mps for the first few events and buy a set of track tyres and if I enjoy it I would like to purchase a series 1,2,3 RX7 (if rotars are permitted) and put a few grand into it to make a decent amatuer track car.

you can get a day or year L2S cams licence. if you plan to do a few then the yearly one is the way to go, as its not even double the price of the day. you can only get a cams licence if you are a member of a cams affiliated cluc but.
