Superoo Member 340 Member For: 22y 2m 15d Gender: Male Posted 17/02/03 10:11 AM Share Posted 17/02/03 10:11 AM Anyone have a car insured with Shannons?I'm looking into insuring with them seeing AAMI etc don't see any value in older cars but would like some personal experience in dealings with them. They basically agreed to double the current insured value on a lower premium than I'm currently paying over the phone with the potential for a higher insured value after an inspection. Guess I'm a bit sus - insurance can never be that easy can it?

That was 8 years ago now.l found them to be excellent to deal with. They seemed to genuinely appreciate modified cars and their passionate owners unlike the attitude of companies such as AAMI etc. Rates were competitive and the policies good. l think they have changed underwriters since l was insuring with them so l dont know how the fineprint is these days.Your experience doesnt suprise me, sounds like you have the sort of car they insure everyday and specialise in. What is it by the way?
