SGIO (WA) - $820

28 Years old - MAX No Claim bonus

$200 Excess

Partner 25 is covered to drive the car (haven't let her yet!!)

Multi-policy discount.

Was by far the best quote I saw in WA...

OH yeah - SGIO is a major sponsor of the mighty West Coast Eagles so it really was a no brainer!!!

My insurance policy has just come up for renewal, and thanks to this thread and for interests sake I thought I would do a few online quotes just to make sure everything is in order. 30 minutes ago I was a rating five driver with an annual policy fee of around $1200, but now I am rating one and with an annual fee of just over $600.

As it turns out AAMI have revised their rating (no claim bonus) structure for new customers but this is not automatically reflected on existing customers that haven’t had insurance history prior to their current policy (I.e. us youngins). So armed with an online quote I ended up with a premium half of the existing policy amount and still even less than the new online quote amount.

So I guess it goes to show that you should always check to make sure you’re not getting ripped!

Trent.
