Well first time modding a ford, as opposed to Jap imports, so most likely will take it to a tuner and they will know the best bang for my buck.. I think I will call insurance when I get a chance, without quoting my policy number of course. Ive heard there isn't much point increasing boost and getting dyno'd unless you have aftermarket exhaust, is it not necessary to get it through to turbo all the way?

Shannons will list and insure every mod on your car. I also got a very good agreed value on my BA. A few k higher than other companies who won't insure your mods.

There is your problem mate........ 1 accident.

It doesn't matter where you go it's going to be pricey but still recommend to shop around.

I got told that normal claim excess is $500.00 but now I have a turbo it is classed as a performance car so there would be an additional $400.00 so total of $900.00 for a claim.

AAMI - Full Comp

24yr old Male

2010 FG XR50 Turbo ute

$32000 Agreed Value

$1000ish per year or $110 a month. $600 excess

Believe it or not, it was actually cheaper to have full comp on my Ute then it was for a 1999 Au Fairlane V8 worth about 5k.....go figure....
