AJ-80, slight downside (maybe) but AAMI wouldn't use anyone that wasn't reputable - and if they didn't fix it right I would simply make them do it again!

Mika - no, that's with basic mods (mine has exhaust, cooler, springs). If you have heaps of mods then maybe only a specialist insurer like JustCars or Shannons I would think.....?

Yeah that's the problem.. Almost tempted to make it look stock, just to get the premium lower, when I had full comp I was paying $1500 a year, with all mods listed, changed to 3rd party like 2 years ago, and 2 weeks ago my car got keyed, so im looking into full comp again, but the price hasnt dropped bugger all.. Got quotes from just car and shannons both around $1400, and the rest wont cover me because of the amount of mods..

yeah that's if the parts are in good nick, if they can't find the parts they put new no questions asked. and the turnaround time was quick. from getting quotes to when the work was done 2 weeks, and they paid for the hire car for 2 weeks.

Whether its $840, $570, choice repairer or whatever, the only point I was making is that me (personally) got by far the best deal with AAMI. And trust me, I dealt with them all......Shannons were the worst actually - complete waste of time calling those wankers "an XR6 turbo is not a classic car - why did you call us?" - Ummmm - for car insurance you retard.... :finger:

It might be different for others and that's no worries, you might get better elsewhere......!
