$3300 on a novated lease...

Was meant to be $900 but the lease company decided to up their pricing

Nothing to do with my age or driving record, they put the car in the "Exotic Performance Car" category.

Basically the same category as a v12 Lambo Murcialago (spelling?)

Not happy, but still the cheapest I could find...

23 yo, Turbo, Bankstown are words all insurance companies laugh at...

Got a quite for my T (only days to go) from NRMA yesterday. The lady behind the counter asks "how many years of driving?". I say 12-13 years. They quoted $1100, that's for the T at $60,000, living in the ACT and teurning 30 in a month :(. I couldn't believe it. She says it's true. I'm going "why so cheap?" she says cheap? You have a 65% no claim bonus. I say "What? Are you sure my names in the computer and not my dads" she says yep. Then I say "you sure the no claim bonus is right. She says "that's what it says here, and the computer never lies". I was stoked. Oh well, I'll be using them.

$580 per year with CGU on the gold coast excess $350.00 both drivers over 30.

How did you get them to value it at $60K? When I insured my T with NRMA they didn't understand options and listed the Premium Sound as a "modification" and wouldn't/couldn't put the 18" alloys on the policy as they reckoned the car came with alloys already. No amount of reasoning/discussion/argument could change their minds. My policy is a tad cheaper than yours but my car is only valued at about $50K and I'm a few years older.

Only got the quote. I gave the lady behind the counter a printout of my order form. She didn't put the "extra's" in so to speak but said it'd be sorted when I get the insurance policy done properly and it shouldn't make much difference to the premium. (famous last words). Oh well, I guess I'll find out next week :)
