QLD Posted 30/06/08 01:29 PM Share Posted 30/06/08 01:29 PM I've worked for a number of insurers, and currently work for an insurance broker. There are a number of insurers out there that offer good prices for XR6t's and some of these don't deal directly with the public (vero or caliden for example)If any of you would like quotes from a number of insurers, please send me a PM and I'll work out the best prices for you. Because there are so many intagibles and different ratings, one insurer could be great for one person, but terrible for another. So it's always worth getting a bunch of quotes from direct and broker channels. Whether or not you decide to take any of my quotes at least you get an idea of what the market is charging. What I need in your pm:- Vehicle year, model, transmission, month of build if possible- Accessories or modifications: note each one and its cost, including - Address and postcode- DOB and driving history (at fault claims in past 5 years, speeding fines, loss of license).- if you have at fault claims, what month/year did these occur, what happened and how much was the claim for- agreed/market value? if agreed, how much? Also, in your PM, if you'd like to include what you're currently paying (and what excess), I can let you know whether you've got a good deal or not.And just to clarify, I don't earn commissions or anything like that, so I don't have any ulterior motives! If I can save you guys money, make sure you've got good coverage and increase my boss's book of business, then it's a win-win. To give you an idea, Ive just turned 25, and I pay $650 a year, fully comp, standard excess, agreed value. That's pretty much the best you can get at my age with an XR6 turbo. Also, if you ended up insuring through us, we lodge and follow up any claims you need to make and go in to bat for you if a claim is unfairly denied.Anyway, that's enough rambling. If you'd like a quote, send me your details and I'll let you know what I can do for you.CheersDave

QLD Posted 06/07/08 08:07 AM Share Posted 06/07/08 08:07 AM Just in addition, was speaking to my boss last night, and we may be able to offer FordXR6Turbo members discounts if I can get a whole bunch of interest. So let me know if your interested. So far I've had 3-4 expressions of interest, and I'm in the process of obtaining quotes from specialist insurers for them. But let me know if you're interested.
