I think I'm playing about $2200 for mine from RACV... After I got Quoted over $4000 for my N/A BA XR6 By Just Cars

Does anybody know RACV's Policy with Mods?

I'm with RACV have been for about 7 years and am 33 yo, no accidents, am rating one with bonueses and all that crap, I rang to get a quote on FG XR6T, no FG in system, so asked for BF for the sake of getting close comparison. Got quoted just over $1000. has anyone else similar age got insurance on a new T? what you get quoted and with who?

im payin $1600 with GIO excess is pretty bad $2500 but they insured my car for $31k when I was with just cars b4 I was payin same premium with 3k excess and they only insured it for 21k! ive told GIO about the visual mods not the performance ones yet but ill get around to it

I just called GIO up as well n they seem to be the go.

im with AAMI but they only allow for 1 mod. *cough cough* yes...

ill be switching to GIO in a few mins.. lol

that's huge butto!! You would almost want to have an accident just to get something out of it lol.

I did a quote last night with rac for a new bf xr6t as a rough comparison to the fg and I got back $1200 a year and im 21 I hope it stays like that when its time to insure the new car just car want $2000 a year with a $1500 excess as opposed to 600 with rac...

Yeah, I had quotes all over the place just above and below $2500pa. My total excess was quoted around $2000 after including the age and other excess witht the standard. Under 25 and the insurance brokers will rape you a new one.

How did you do that? Shannons don't insure anyone under 25...
