I'm happy, was cheaper than my old ss ute. I'm only 23 btw. Market value was pretty sh*t only 18grand. but still heaps more than I paid for it. Oh it's with Ract.I can't understand why all these yound ppl are paying so much, sweet talk the olds, and save thousands, ha. and I just let the old boy borrow it every now and then, keeps him happy..... They allow any legal modifications and they don't have to be listed.RACV the same. Any mods as long as they meet RTA requirements. Don't have to be listed, only informed if making a claim. Was paying around $1500 a year and now that im 25 its gone down to only $1420. WTF????? I've had an online quote from Just Cars and they're after $1490 mods included... I thought when ya turn 25 it drops better than $80 FFS... Any other insurers out there I should try that cover modified cars????

I was with Just Car (from 20 yo, no-one else would touch me), same deal I turned 25 and they didn't drop the price; they were asking around $2300 and were a bit 'brief' with me when I enquired about the price on the phone so I said bye bye. Then I rang AAMI (who allowed me to use my parent's no claim bonus, max for life) and now $1061 and I'm happy (26 yo). This also included my mention of a 'ECU / computer management system' and they said "yes" to an exhaust if I wanted it.It helps if your parents are already customers, somehow they allowed me to have max no claim even though I was a 'new' customer. And as far as the polling question for this thread: Just car 0, AAMI 1..... I'm all for loyalty but a 50% increase in 12 months is crazy!Anyone else had a similar experience with AAMI?I am also with AAMI and my insurance on A ba xr6 t has jumped from mid $700 to $962.00 I am rating one for life had a stack last year that wasn`t migh fault but they said I had to wear it. I am in bentleigh area also value of car has dropped to $16,550 which is ridiculous for a car with under 80,000k`s on it.amyone in bentleigh got a better deal or better value on car.
