Just had an interesting thought...

(I know that there has been a lot of threads on insurance companies, however not sure if there has been a poll)...

Have you had to make a claim with your current insurance company?

If so how do you rate them?

TWO THUMBS UP :beerchug::bowdown:

OR TWO THUMBS DOWN :ARFiring: :biggun: :hammerhead: :banghead:

Tell us what you think!!!

I'm with AAMI. They paid me out after 3 weeks when my last car was stolen, they insure my T for a good price and I still have my 70% so I can't complain.

:ARFiring: AAMI - one at fault claim (buckled rim) and three not-at-fault claims and they have been superb all the way. Even call the week after you get your car back for a chat to make sure everything is ok! :beerchug:

:hammerhead: for Suncorp though...bunch of arrogant fools that are only interesting in collecting your premium then don’t want to know you....was about 10 years ago though so they might have smartened up a bit.

Mate - GIO get my vote at the moment! (except I stuffed up and did a null vote on my own poll)

:flick_flex:

So far so good!!!

Were great when I needed a small not a fault claim last year from someone doing some damage to my rear bar... and fault less when I had to get the F6 windscreen replaced a few months ago!!!

Top vote from me, everything was a piece of piss, and simple... My choice of repair, at my time, when I wanted (just needed 3 quotes from the places I wanted it to go to), and windscreen couldnt have been easier they insisted it be a genuine replacement!

AAMI were a bunch of pullers, muppets, and stooges when I delt with them about 7 yrs ago, and were the same today when I was in there with Da Gurly's XR5 for a small bumper issue where someone backed into her car twice on the weekend... Wankers have given us the run around, wont consider our preferred choice of repair place (its at the assessor ALL DAY for a small repaint request)... Rude, and dont call back when requested or promised...

Wait and see what happens I guess... (The assessor I spoke with wasnt to bad however, but the customer agent didnt seem to happy we wanted to talk to him... maybe just a bad morning for her..)

AAMI collect all the cars up in the centers and have repairs all bid on the quote... they dont care what you drive or where it goes, as they will just off load it to the cheapers quote then say the rest is up to u to deal with the repairer directly... Did exactly the same thing with my old flat mates 6 month old Mazda 3.... Went to some half arsed almost back yard repairer... came back with sh*t paint job, mis alligned bar and lights, and missing the AIP and batt cover...

NRMA/RACV were a waste of time on a total loss I had not at fault... despite having agreed and listed accessories for the stereo alarm etc... they wouldnt pay up, so I stripped the car and kept the extras... didnt really care either way, just pissed that they tried to rip me (well the old man)...

Elders... (via my old insurance broker) was a legend... love the guys... however old interested in country based cars now... wont touch city... few claims not at fault, car break in, and 1 at fault... and they were amazing... head office wasnt bad, however did try to cut us on one thing which the broker quickely put them back in place about!

Anyone in a rural area needing insurance PM me and ill give you their details... 10/10 Hayden love your work... funny bastard, the old insurance guy I know with a sense of humor! :28_1_12:

is it just me or is the poll at the top of the page not adding up properly? It says 9 votes at the moment but there are only 7 or 8 votes depending on which section you look at.

Couple of null votes....like the bloke that actually started the poll :beerchug:

Still records as a vote even if you don't select anything.

So not happy with AAMI after today effort...

Da Gurly is really really upset... So much so she is planning on dumping AAMI and paying cash for the job!

Decided to approve a back yard shop to do a full front bar repair, respray, and finish for $300... There is more paint then 300$ in a bloody bar by its self!!!

NOT IMPRESSED AAMI... OH AND WERE NOT FINISHED YET... f*ckERS!!!

:ARFiring: :gunsfiring: :argue: Tomorrow its time to talk to the lebo side, rather then my nice professional side...

IOC time too I think!

DAM I WANT TO RE-VOTE!!!
