Look around some more once you are a rating one I thought you held it for life?

the insurance you pay is worth jack if you damage your own car only.... if you claim, it will cost the ins comp $XXX to fix.... come time to renew your policy... it goes up $XXX.

if you write your car off or have a larger claim then its a different story... not worth claiming smaller amounts... as it will cost you more in the long run by paying more in insurance and losing your rating.

im with just car insurance... 32 and pay $1200 (just under)... I am insured for unlimited modifications

im with just cars (underwritten by aami) in WA and they said any mods are fine as long as you tell them.

being underwritten by aami and allowing this you would have thought aami themselves would have same policy, I assume :stirthepot:

I am with AAMI as well and they have said the same. Any mods as long as they are listed and legal.

Now that's intresting is the Edit considered legal? Does it break any laws?

So AAMI know about your Edit?

when I applied they asked if the car had any mods, and you had to tick boxes to select the ones you had..

in the list there was a box for retuned computer or something to that description so they are aware of it..

I you tell them your mod falls in this catagory surely they cant pull you up on it!!

Yes ..... not detailed under modifications as they ( AAMi) did not have a category for it. It is listed as an accessory "retuning of factory computer parameters"

As an aside , pick up the Phoon this afternoon with a replaced rear bumper, replacement fog lamp, and front bar respray from Fox and stone chip damage........AAMI service todate has been outstanding. Will wait and see the quality of the work this arvo.

They didn't even bat an Eye at my Stooge Hunters Sticker :stirthepot:
