Unfortunately I have to resort to defence because of the lack of moderation and excess people dying to jump all over others for no ration reason. Keyboard Terrorists or so it seems... You said: “Your 6 engine mods wont be covered on AAMI as they only cover a maximum of 3.” It seems to me that you were posting in an attempt to discredit Blown BA. Maybe you should teach yourself the difference between sharing your recollections and ramming what you “think” is right down other peoples throats. What a load of crap Trent. Stop looking through your one eye, bud.I posted “Your 6 engine mods wont be covered on AAMI as they only cover a maximum of 3.” because that's exactly what I have been told by AAMI on MANY occasions. I didnt call Blown a liar nor did I insult him or his statement, I meerly posted my findings. Mods, clean this up please Yes mods. Please do clean this up – yet another adult conversation turned into a school girl squabble by the one and only Geeseman.Yeah, whatever trent. My posts dont number 1/10th of the annoying ones like yours that are based on rubbish, add nothting to threads and are only made to incite trouble. What do you when you talk to a brick wall ...........What you think im crapping on about being told 3 mods only? OTHER PEOPLE HAVE POSTED IT ON THIS FORUM. Grow up, mr 38 year old... I rang them less then 3 weeks ago when I was renewing my policy... I was told that there is a maximum of 3 mods allowed.Just car insurance is actually underwritten by AAMI... and JCI allows unlimited mods as long as they are legal
Geeseman Donating Members 1,805 Member For: 21y 18d Location: Sydney Posted 31/01/05 02:09 AM Share Posted 31/01/05 02:09 AM Well I have just got off the phone with AAMI and have cancelled my insurance with them (which was about to lapse any day now anyway). They were very clear that they now allow more than 3 mods, but you must be clear as to what the mods are because they do not allow ALL types of mods.I had a great arguement with them about my brake upgrade because they thought it could not be covered, but straightened that out. Then it came to the intercooler. AAMI will not cover any car with intercooler modifications. Id say this extends to any air intake mods although youd need to clarify with them.In short if you are insured with them I would be very clear about what mods you have and make them note it on the policy and ask them to send you a new copy. tupperware Member 113 Member For: 21y 10m 17d Location: South Brizzy Posted 31/01/05 02:21 AM Share Posted 31/01/05 02:21 AM For example if an insurance company were to structure their premiums based on "statistics" of a given race (as in skin colour) then wouldn't that be plastered across the front page of a newspaper as discrimination?Trent.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>They sort of can. Birds of feather flock together. Your insurance premium is also based on your residence, work it out

I'd suggest if you don't get the right response one day... give it 5... 30 mins or the next day and see what they say... you may honestly get a completely different response.... it's just ridiculous.
